SNACK SHOP – Children get to visit the Snack Shop almost every day while they are at camp. They will go with their cabin group and be able to enjoy a treat. Snack Shop money can be paid in advance when you register or at check in. Campers will not be able to pay with cash. The Snack Shop money will be converted into a card where we will keep track of what your child spends. At the end of the week if there is any money left we will refund it to your child. Most treats are between $.50-$1.00. In addition, we sell clothing, souvenirs, toys, and jewelry. These items range in price from $1.00-$20.00. A usual visit to the Snack Shop consists of 1 drink (soda, juice, water) and 1 treat (ice cream bar, candy bar). We try to provide some healthier snacks as well. The Snack Shop will be open after the Parent Show for the camper’s families to get a treat as well.

SWIMMING – No swimming is allowed in Camp Li-Wa Lake currently because if its condition. We will have water games for the younger children and transport the older children to a local pool.

CABIN BUDDY REQUESTS – During registration you may request a cabin buddy for your camper. Please do so at least a week in advance of when camp starts. We will do our best to honor your request if it is logistically possible.

PHOTOGRAPHS – Many pictures of campers are taken throughout the week. It is our assumption that most parents love to see their children in camp brochures and slide shows. If you do not wish your child’s picture to be taken, please notify the office in writing.

COSTS AND REFUNDS – A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at registration. This will hold your child’s spot for camp. The remaining balance is due at or before check in. If your child is not able to attend camp, all your money except the $50 will be refunded to you.

PRE-CAMP FACILITY TOUR – This will be an opportunity for parent/campers to meet our staff and become familiar with the camp facilities. Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 10:30 am to Noon.

FINAL REGISTRATION – Most camps will have final registration on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. with events for the campers starting at 10:00 a.m. June 8-10 and July 6-8 camps begin on Wednesday with final registration at 9:00 a.m. Please turn in all medical info, snack shop money, and any remaining camp fees that are due.
