Giving Financially

Li-Wa Lodge This building will replace the dining hall whose life expectancy is about done and allow more campers/retreat guests.
Staff Housing As our staff at both Li-Wa and Victory Bible Camps grow, we will need more places to house them.
Camper Scholarships We would like as many children to attend camp as possible, financially some families cannot afford this.
Staff Compensation All of our staff at both Li-Wa and Victory Bible Camps are on a missionary basis, meaning they don't get paid as employees do at a typical job. All their "pay" comes from donations and support of people and organizations around the country.

Campers need to relocate from this obsolete summer dining hall to a new building! Adult groups will be able to expand from a crowded dining room to a larger facility.

Retreat groups which have outgrown Camp Li-Wa will be able to return. Larger state-wide groups may be accommodated. This will not only impact these groups, but open up new opportunities of outreach to Alaskans!

It is very likely that you or someone you love has been influenced positively through the work of Victory Ministries of Alaska and possibly at Camp Li-Wa. Literally thousands of lives have been transformed for Jesus Christ through the camps.

An Open Challenge

The challenge is to replace the old summer dining facilities with a structure that will hold many more people. This need is urgent because the old dining hall has been given one more summer (2011) by a structural engineer. By 2012 another dining facility needs to be in place. An architectural building plan is near completion, and Kiewit Construction has partnered with us as general contractor. Though Kiewit is not financially underwriting this project, they are seeking in kind subcontracting partners for the project as well as volunteer workers.

The capital expenses must be funded through donations. Income from camper fees goes directly for the operational costs of running camps. The Living Water Lodge project will only be undertaken as funds are available.

This is one of the most exciting opportunities ever for those who love the ministry at Camp Li-Wa. God is continuing to use this facility in the lives of people. Will you ask God for discernment to know how you can partner with Him to share the good news to future generations that will attend Camp Li-Wa? Other Ways to Become Involved:

1. Join the prayer team and receive regular updates on progress.
2. Volunteer personally or ask about bringing your group to help as a work team.
3. Offer your professional expertise in the field of construction.
4. Donate air miles to bring professional volunteers who can help with construction.

Giving of Time Praying Every summer we seek 500 people to pray for five minutes every day. We will send you regular Emails with current prayer request for you to pray for.

Giving of Time Join Us Here We are always in need of more help on the grounds here in Alaska. People come for two weeks as part of a work team. Others come for the summer from cooks to counselors or from mechanics to secretaries. Some join our year around staff.
