Wow! It's almost registration time for summer camp. We're looking forward to an exciting summer and need help in our S. A. L. T. Program. Have you made your plans for summer yet? If you have an extra week to give, think about getting involved with our High School S. A. L. T. Program. The S. A. L. T Program is a way for you to get involved for God. It gives you work experience in a Christian camp, helps the camp staff to have more time to spend with the campers and keeps the camp going week to week. Although cleaning and set-up work are involved, it can be a really fun time for you. Many teens come back to our summer work program year after year for lots of reasons. It might be for the friends, or the fun of helping out at camp. Usually, it is because they know they are serving the Lord and they get close to God while doing that. Are you interested in helping? Maybe you have a friend who is interested in helping too. We need volunteers for most weeks from June 12 through August 4. If you would like to get involved, you can view the S. A. L. T. Job Description by clicking on the link. Then go to the S. A. L. T. Application and the S. A. L. T. Schedule Request and Health forms. Fill them out and submit. If you cannot retrieve these online, let us know and we will mail you an application. Remember, you must be 14 and in high school to qualify. And don't forget, volunteering your time at camp is a great way to earn work experience needed when you apply somewhere for a job.
